When we finish all quests, our free-to-play wizard should be on level 9.

It is possible to raise him up further. 
Entering a Career Path can still bring entertainment and development, and additional paths and aims may make the game even more attractive.

The main path possible to take, although extra-gamal, is:

Crown Earning Path

Crowns can be earned through watching videos in-game and taking quizzes on a special game site. To learn more about it, see CROWNS.

In Wizard City, zones unlock for 750 Crowns.

In Krokotopia, zone price used to be 915 Crowns, and now is 3500 Crowns for multiple zones at once.

In Marleybone, Mooshu, and Dragonspyre, zone price is 1200 Crowns.

In Celestia, Zafaria, and Avalon, zone price is 1695 Crowns.

In Grizzleheim & Wintertusk, Azteca, Khrysalis, Polaris, Mirage, and Empyrea, zone price is 1995 Crowns.

In most worlds, some zones are free upon purchase of other zones.

The Crown Earning Path widens the range of Career Paths available to undertake. However the pace of access gain to paid zones is slow. Still some new Career Paths will open, and the basic FTP Paths might have their scope enlarged.

The FTP paths possible from level 9 are:

Golem Career Path

Slay golems inside Golem Tower for experience and for the Badge!

Experience from Golem Tower five duel chain: c.80 XP.

For free-to-play wizards, golems are found only in Golem Tower, and therefore FTP wizards can defeat five rows of opponents in a duel chain.

Tips: Healing during duels grants high HP level for the next duel in the tower.

Technomancer 500 defeated opponents

Undead Career Path

Slay the undead in Unicorn Way and in Triton Avenue, inclusive of Haunted Cave, for experience and for the Badge!

Best regular creature to slay for XP is: Field Guard.

Best boss creature to slay for XP is: Harvest Lord.

Animus Career Path

Slay Undead and extract their animus for experience and for the Badge!
Monstrologist Burke in Ravenwood at level 12 provides spells for undead extraction. Put them in your deck and during duels with Undead combine them with school damage spells to extract undead animus.

This is a second career path involving Undead, but in this one weaker opponents also are attractive. Duels with weak enemies are fast and safe and many can be done in short time.
